Before we start
You bring a task — an assignment, an essay, a report. We build everything you need to do it: the task in clearer words, a plan laid out piece by piece, a step-by-step path with a time on every step, and an interactive workbook where it all lives. Then the work is yours, one small piece at a time.
- It will not write your assignment. Nothing here writes a single sentence of your work. It builds the path so you can.
- It is not the steps-only tool — that is Step Through. This tool builds the steps and the workbook to do them in.
- It is not the teacher’s audit tool — that is Audit and Adjust. If your teacher already gave you an Unpack workbook, you can just use that one.
Your task text and your selections are never stored. Each run is processed and discarded, and your finished workbook lives with you — not with Unpack. Do not include real names or personal information.
Your task
Upload the task sheet, or describe the task in your own words — a couple of sentences is enough.

About the task
So the plan, the steps and the timings fit the actual task.
Word count and due date are never invented. If the task doesn’t say, tick the box — your workbook will include a highlighted reminder to ask your teacher.
How you work best
Optional. This shapes how things are worded and broken down. It is never printed on anything you download — your documents only ever say the date they were made.
Adaptation & support categories — All profiles is recommended⚠️ Before the documents can be built
These are never invented, so please fill in what you know — or tick “I’ll ask my teacher” and your workbook will carry a highlighted reminder.
Your first steps are safe
Reading and clarifying the task both finished — only building the documents failed, which is usually a hiccup on the connection, not anything you did. Try just that step again: it takes about a minute, not the full run.
These exact steps go into your workbook — nothing changes between here and there. Reword a step so it sounds like you, remove one that doesn’t fit, or move steps up and down. Or change nothing: the button takes you straight on.
🏁 That’s everything built. The work is yours now — one small piece at a time.
Your workbook opens on a guide that shows you around. Nothing you write in it is ever seen by Unpack.
